1000 Fabulous Knit Hats
A definitive and inspirational collection of hand knit hats by Rockport Published, presented by Annie Modesitt

Thank you to EVERYONE who so kindly submitted hats to this endeavor, your work is greatly appreciated,
the book will be a richer documentation of the depth of knit and crochet hats because of you!

AND THE WINNERS ARE
The selection of the 10 winners was one of the hardest jobs in this entire book!

There were SO many amazing hats submitted, so many are deserving of the BEST HAT award, but there can only be 10 chosen.

These hats were picked for their beauty, but also for their knit & crochet "friendliness" - their ability to be worked by knitters and crocheters.  Some spectacular hats couldn't be considered because they are, above all, one-of-a-kind and would be very difficult for another knitter to reproduce.

A desire to create a group of winners across the spectrum of hats submitted (colorwork, texture, sculptural, baby hats, lace, cables) also weighed in the decision making process.
